Singapore Regatta WaterFest 2025

Join the SAVH Dragon Boat Team at the Singapore Regatta WaterFest 2025 for an exciting day of paddling and teamwork at Kallang Basin! The event will take place on 15 November 2025. Participants are to report at 9:00 AM at the SAVH White Cane Club. Two-way transport will be provided. There are only 10 slots available. To register, please call the White Cane Club at 69787607.

Mount Alvernia Hospital Health Check

SAVH is once again partnering with Mount Alvernia Hospital to offer free basic health screening and flu vaccination for clients. The session will be held on 18 November 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the SAVH Multi-Purpose Hall. Capacity is limited to 100 participants, and while blood tests will be conducted, no fasting is required. To register, please call your respective social worker.

Movie Outing: Disney’s Zootopia 2

Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union, invites clients to a movie outing to watch Disney’s Zootopia 2 at Golden Village, VivoCity on, 30 November 2025, at 3:30 PM. Transport will not be provided. Please meet at HarbourFront MRT Exit E. Limited to 36 tickets, on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please call the White Cane Club at 69787607.

Christmas Sing-Along Session

The Lions Club of Singapore Ocean, invites clients to a festive Christmas Sing-Along Session at SAVH on 3 December 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. Limited to 25 slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes on 20 November 2025. To register, please call the White Cane Club at 69787607.

Gardens By The Bay Tour

The White Cane Club invites clients to a fun-filled trip to Gardens by the Bay on 7 December 2025, featuring an exciting tour of the Supertree Grove followed by a hands-on Kokedama Workshop. Participants are to report at the White Cane Club at 8:15 AM. Two-way transport will be provided between SAVH and Gardens by the Bay. CDC Vouchers

Good news! SAVH now accepts CDC Vouchers for selected payments. You may use your vouchers for items such as Low Vision Clinic (LVC) consultation fees and membership fees. (Please note that the above are examples ONLY. For accurate details on eligible payments, kindly check with the respective departments before making your transaction.)

Haircut Day at the White Cane Club

The Haircut Day was held at the White Cane Club on 1 November 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, where clients enjoyed a refreshing trim and a friendly chat in a warm, community setting!

IT Workshop

An IT Workshop on SingBus and Moovit was conducted at SAVH on 29th October, from 2pm to 5pm, to help clients enhance their mobility and confidence when using public transport. A big thank you to all the volunteers for their time and support in guiding our clients throughout the session!

Purple Parade 2025

SAVH proudly joined The Purple Parade 2025 at Suntec City to celebrate inclusion and the abilities of persons with disabilities. A heartfelt thank you to all volunteers and supporters who stood with us for this meaningful cause!
