The Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) needs volunteers / donors to support and assist in its various programmes and activities for visually impaired persons.
We also appreciate individuals who would like to come forward to offer their skills to organize specific activities. For example, if you are a hair stylist, then you can volunteer your skills to cut the hair of our beneficiaries. Or if you are good at music, you may want to conduct a music class.
We need your help to enable the visually handicapped persons to lead a more meaningful and independent life.
Here are some ways you can help:

| Reading | Recording audio books - Regular volunteers are needed for this activity as we need the same voice for the audio book. Recording of an audio book may take up to 5 sessions and stretched across 2-3 months. | Weekdays 10am to 12pm or 2pm to 5pm, minimum once a week. Note that volunteers are only required on project basis. This is not an ongoing programme. Only upon request |
