In our bid to explore how our programmes could be accessible for persons with visual impairments, we have an upcoming programme to try our accessible slides as well as a trainer who is willing to try out what it means to conduct a programme for persons with VI in the audience.
Date: 3 Feb 2021, Wednesday
Venue: Bishan Public Library, Programme Zone, Level 2
Time: 6.30-8.30pm
Programme title: [Get Professional] EQ at Work
In the World Economic Forum’s 2018 report on the ‘Future of Jobs’, Emotional Intelligence (EQ) was identified as a key skill required for the future world of work.
This workshop will help you gain an understanding of EQ, how it applies to the workplace, and enable you to pick up strategies to enhance your own Emotional Intelligence. You will be introduced to the four EQ skills and each of the 12 EQ competencies, with real-life business examples, and have the opportunity to develop your own EQ action plan.
This programme is suitable for persons with visual impairments and provides accessible PowerPoint slides. For persons with visual impairments, please email accessible@nlb.gov.sg to register and to obtain the slides.
